Making progress visible, from the first class to the next belt

Levels, skills, a personal passport and lesson plans with points

Athletes, and certainly young athletes and their parents, want to know where they stand and what they still need to learn. Coaches usually know, but it is rarely written down anywhere. Grip op Sport makes that progress visible.

Levels and skills

You set up the levels of your sport, such as belts with intermediate steps, and the skills that belong to them. For judo, hockey, football, tennis and golf these are ready to import. Coaches give each member a grade per skill.

A personal passport

Every member has a passport with their current level, the number of skills achieved and the milestones. A skill counts as achieved from a fixed grade, so everyone knows where the bar is.

Lesson plans with steps and points

With a lesson plan an athlete works step by step towards a goal, for example the next belt. Every step contains skills, short questions and challenges. Completing something earns points and keeps a weekly streak going. In their dashboard the coach sees which athletes are on schedule and who needs a little extra attention.
